I recently noticed in the concept arts they reference the exact RWS illustrations they used for reference to make the props.

For Elsbridge, according to the concept art, they used "Book 4, Page 9 and 11", which are these 2 images of Knapford Junction from "Thomas and the Guard".

For to props, I find something in real life that is similar and then taking a picture of me holding it. I've put my heads on desk edges and held big books to get poses like these.

I've even dabbed before which was fun cause I had to embody the character's energy LOL.
