Diversity has always existed in anime. Difference is, the diversity comes naturally. It is not forced. Black Lagoon is one of many great examples. Dutch is one badass mother f*****! Definitely one of my favorite characters. 😎

I can totally respect the amount of animation diversity and creativity western cartoons have over most anime, but even that's gone down-hill somewhat. I'll take 'cute anime' over 'bubbly Cal-Arts' 90% of the time.
