All of these have black India ink. I don't use it for outlines, just to add color, development. Upperleft (and then CW), painting on canvas, en brunaille + acrylic washes, India ink; India ink on giclée print; ditto + colored pencil; India ink and oil pastel on giclée.

the pens are pretty decent for outlining after watercolor; it can withstand erasing, too

the paper can handle multiple washes but the texture is pretty uneven on one side and it makes it difficult to do small details. I'll test the smoother side another day

Been too harsh on myself lately and want to embrace an artstyle with looser outlines, trying to be less of a perfectionist and stuff, don't want to have 50 drawings that I never finish lel. Does it look good?

Sort of? I tend to be very dependant on using lines to set up drawings, so in the past couple years I've been trying to use a workflow that goes from an outline sketch to colors, or just starting with colors.

It's let me combine styles more, but I still tend to default to lines.
