I often get accused of being "cute" by chat, and I definitely don't agree...
...but I've been testing a scuffed pout for and usually accidental hotkey presses give me a creepy scramble of overlays, but.. if this wasn't me I might dare call it cute🤣🤣

istg my methods change every time
1. Lineart, flats
2. Monochrome shading
3. Colour layer
4. Colour lineart (do bg too)
5. honestly try to do lighting and overlay in moderation at the end but i always ignore my own advice
6. (I always forget!) texture, colour balance, blur

they utilize layered clothing, so they can overlay nicely. my tech tricks give us color variations for free (memory wise) too!
