Seeing MAPPA express interest in Fujimoto's other properties after Chainsaw Man sounds like good news to hear. Personally I feel you'd need a more creative vision with overwhelming direction in order to capture their appeal.
"Look Back" is a title I'd definitely be clamoring for.

Finished reading one-shot manga Goodbye, Eri by Fujimoto. After finishing it, I am speechless, Fujimoto is really AMAZING mangaka, for me, this one-shot is MASTERPIECE👌. I hope it gets an anime movie adaptation. This is the best one-shot manga I've ever read so far!!

not really tho, csm color spreads have very different palettes from each other’s, fujimoto's coloring isn’t that consistent so you should draw it however you like it the most!
