In terms of mecha designs, I lean more towards the designs of ones from spinoffs/side stories of the original series (Full Metal Panic Another, Gundam IBO Gekko, Moon Gundam, etc.) Designs there are more interesting to me and they tend to be out of the norm from their OG series.

G Gundam was the best Gundam, do NOT at me, I was late to ballet lessons because of the finale when I was 10 yrs old, Pacific Rim could NEVER.

To me, it's a weapon of choice of powerful machines in fiction. What the Barbatos Gundam, has a mace with a pile bunker in the center. Hard pressed to finda human who could withstand the impact and the preperation time can vary.

These movies are great. If anyone wants to get into Gundam, I recommend watching the 0079 compilation movies first. They introduce the basic knowledge of of the Universal Century such as the Earth Federation, Zeon, and etc. Also they make 0079 have an actual ending.
