Tonight's color-contrast pairing is Mario/Peach (Mareach) from the Mario series! ❤️/💗
The two have known each other since babyhood, Mario often rescuing her and being rewarded with a kiss. They have a romantic affection for each other, Peach even called Mario's "special one."
I love how there's official art of everyone just chilling at Mario's house doing whatever.
While I often wish Wario got more representation in Mario's games, I do value how the distance from him has allowed Wario and his series to retain their personality and style.
This especially goes nowadays, with how strict and restrictive things are with Mario as a brand now.
@TheRetroKaiju In Super Mario Kart & Mario's Tennis, DK Jr is already an adult and his design is still different from modern DK.
when people describe it as a level in mario's stomach and try to describe the spheres as "stomach bubbles"
https://t.co/4gOflbUWXf🇯🇵 somehow mahjong managed to bring out Mario's steely competitive side when kart racing, smashing bros, etc never could
yknow what, that checks out
I never questioned why Wario got a plane as his first vehicle. A while ago though, it hit me that it was likely made to be a counterpart to Mario's Sky Pop, from Super Mario Land.
The Sky Pop even is in Mario & Wario's ending, so this was likely the idea.
really appreciate the recent spinoffs for going all in on mario's Middle-Aged Boomer Dad aesthetic. very daring direction
So fan hypothesis of 'peach is sonic and Sonic is peach' aside, I do find the idea of luigi knowing about this a bit funny as it opens the door to how would luigi react to this hypothesis given Snes mario is missing takes places at the real world and not Mario's world.
Mario, reaching speeds quick enough to put him in the 500 in a matter of a few laps with minutes left in practice hit some debris on the track laid down by Kenny Brack! Mario's car became airborne an flipped many times landing on its wheels. A cut chin and a smile Mario was ok!
The month of May in 1969 at Indy did not go very smooth for @MarioAndretti even though he did win the race. When practice started Mario's team had a Colin Chapman Lotus 64! A 4 wheel drive Ford . The car was fast but showed unreliable. Most of the parts were from a F1 car design!
Seeing Captain Syrup there alongside Mario and Wario gives me endless joy.
I'll never stop rooting for her to find a place in Mario's spin-offs.
Did you know Mario's hammer belongs to a certain brand? That's right, it's a "Tuff-As-Nails" hammer! #Blip
