I'm digging the hashtag. I had an agency turn me down as a featured illustrator, they said my portfolio was 'too inconsistent'. I wanted to write back and say 'why would I show you multiple identical drawings when I can do so much and want to show off my versatility?'

I used to be anxious over not being able to choose a specific art style to stick with.
But I think if versatility comes naturally to you, you shouldn't deny it, even if you're gonna "lose more time" pursuing it !

I'm proud of my versatility, but one of my biggest problems art-wise is my lack of consistency. Makes it very hard for people to recognise my work! I'm trying to work on that.

I'm one of those artists that feels kinda bad for not having one defining, recognizable style but I've learned to love my versatility and enjoy having different styles for different moods. 😊
