Model sheets are created to show a character in its final form so the animators can understand the character to be able to animate it. Some of the model sheets are from the Kenner design team. Others are from the animation team with refining to make them easier to animate.

A villain I absolutely adore is Kai from Kung Fu Panda 3. In the concept art he was originally gonna have 4 arms with prehensile hair & chains. Pretty sure they didn’t go with that cause it was too much of a hassle to animate. Sure would have been cool though.
