Recently I've been expanding upon what the Demon Realm will be like in my characters' story. I've decided that I'll start drawing some of the random creatures that live inside of it, starting off with these lads.
When they die, they turn into yolk ghosts since they are egg boys.
When Geno uses a Special Move, a symbol of a star is superimposed over his body. While the other characters' symbols are the four main playing card symbols, Geno's is the Joker's star.
While working on the character sprites, we're also giving the existing sprites an art style overhaul. The characters' proportions have been adjusted and some minor design changes have been made. The art quality is getting better and better!

From Scott Pilgrim to Seconds, he inspired me to start my own comic book, without necessarily making it look realistic. I love his cartoonish style, from it's comedic moments to the characters' expressions.
Close-up shots as always. To show the details I like to add to my characters' faces. I keep making a lot of mistakes and forgetting their facial proportions and volumes, but it's hard to do much in my condition.
Lover is a special guy for me.
