Problem was we had to carry that idea trough the whole process : layout-inks-colors. Luckily I was able to work closely with colorist Stéphane Paitreau to achieve the needed effect and method.

Tried out a new shading method with a Scar doodle! I want to come up with something a little more advanced than cel shading but not so painterly that it takes hours and hours to color. This wound up taking two evenings to do so definitely some work to do to improve this method...
