For me it was Jennadelle, their use of blur filters and gradients to render their work inspired me greatly, you can see in my older artwork how much I tried to emulate that style. (here's some stuff I drew in 2017 please ignore the clunkiness >:()

It was hard trying to find the proper balance between his skin and hair color since in the past his hair blended in with the skin a bit much @@
