I want Dark Sonic to be explored more outside of "oh, edgy" - like maybe being a distorted mirror of Super Sonic?

My headcanon is that Super Sonic enhances and propells energy (i.e., flowers would subtly turn and "reach" out to him), so Dark Sonic would hone and strip energy.
