A Study in Red! My mentor had told me to push my comforts when it comes to color so I decided to try doing a study without using regular skin tones. It was weird to work on a red/blue scale but I liked it! Really made me focus on the values. It was from a picture I found online!

Thank you for starting this hashtag, !
For PS (maybe other editing software), for VALUES, make sure you're not using 'Desaturate' as that is not true values. Fill a new layer with Black and set to Color. See the difference below!

'The Breathing Cathedral'. The result of kind of mindlessly painting values. Not too happy with it, but fine enough to post I suppose. Need to practice drawing landscapes.

VALUES. I HATE VALUES AND VALUES HATE ME!!!!

It's not hard in black and white but in colour it is literally the death of me. I always have to go back and fix 500 things =n= *grumpy noise*

But here have a curly tree =w=

The first pass in acrylics is mostly to establish some base values.

There is some minimal redrawing at this stage but my main aim is to get everything covered to create a good ground to build upon.

My painting "The Parity Of Values" is available for sale. Acrylic on canvas, 16" x 12." It took me 2 months to complete. narrates the wisdom of keeping balance between materialistic, worldly aspects of life, and non tangible values. https://t.co/yYfWVKYXmo

Happy Halloween! This is a poster I've made for Halloween. I've tried Greyscale to Color for the first time. Not as good as I expected but It's cool to practice values. RT's and Likes are beyond appreciated!🎃🍬

That’s because there is still such a long life ahead waiting for us, to learn more and embrace universal values.
This is our place. Our future, are in our hands. 3/5

I like pink
but I love lavender

Still not sure about the values. I want the figures to pop so either backlit or very very dark.

A head for the European Dragon by i-monster!
It's a little pricier than I planned but my friends convinced me to bump it up to market values.
