Kildrummy Castle watercolour. In 1306 The Bruce's Wife, Elizabeth, his Sister (Mary) & Isabella MacDuff were among the party that escaped from English siege but were captured later at Tain. Mary was put in a cage at Roxburgh Castle & Isabella in a cage at South Berwick Castle.

Sketching my oil palette in watercolour. People often ask what colours I use. I have a very restricted palette - not a green or brown in sight as they can all mixed using primary colours so it is 2 reds, 2 blues and 2 yellows.
