Tracing can also be used to speed up the art process. More and more I'm trying to get in the habit of creating 3D models of environments that I can trace screenshots of to create some really detailed scenes in a fraction of the time it would take me without.

I used to feel really creative and now worry my well is dry and everything is derivative... Especially thinking of environments. The one on the left is obviously older and now I struggle to try and create monsters that don't immediately make me think they suck or I've seen before
