it’s hard to pick one design from spiderwick chronicles to feature. that’s tony diterlizzi for you! but I find myself especially attached to the goblins. bats and frogs are odd animal choices that still feel distinctly “gobliny” and they’re just so raggedy and charming.

@DaveDexterMusic @AOtreus If firearms aesthetics weren't so integral to Metal Gear's design I would agree. However their distinct visuals is why Kojima picked the FAMAS, PGS1 etc. specifically. Ohrai and Shinkawa still drew screen accurate firearms despite the graphics. It's the biggest difference imo.

@HelenaWayneBlog Tim Seeley had already made the visual distinction between them, & found a way for Bertinelli to exist without the Huntress identity. In the Birds of Prey Rebirth series, DC could've kept her as a Spyral agent, while leaving room for Helena Wayne to be the Huntress on any Earth.
