A lot of thought goes into the process of designing creatures for me. I tend to look up several real life references for how I want a creature to look and to make it feel like it could actually exist. This means looking at things like big cats, swamp/bog animals and more.

She both loved & hated it, lol!
Loved it because the story & the characters were great, comedy & references were great, score & classical elements were great.

On the subject of ai art; this is an art I drew based on a prompt from dall-e. I didn't draw over the image, just used it as reference. I prefer it this way I guess? If I use blatant references, I post them. It feels scummy when I use other's work without mentioning it.
