At first, I refused to draw anything that wasn't harsh lines and amateur cel shading. But I joined an art coloring contest where I colored over the lines, and realized I actually liked that more. So, anime and semi realism artist have been my inspirations (coloring needs work😅)

Imaishi was definitely a fan of Gainax’s earlier work, evident by this illustration. Note the angularity, hard black outlines, and frenetic movement, which are all part and parcel of Imaishi’s style.

I love bold outlines, intense colours with darker themes in the shows themselves. Grittier shows with stylish animation. Also MFKZ art style pops and I like it a lot. Film was eh but the style was 👌

I currently use a basic mouse for doing digital art, which is frustrating when trying to create smooth lines. A tablet would not only cut down on the time it takes to edit and smooth my lines, but also help me to continue improving my skills as an artist.
