2011- literally searching for my own voice and my path so this Sanji displays mixed techniques, one being cel shading ( hair and cartoony feel) with “semi realistic” skin painting. Probably my favorite phase/Sanji.

I appreciate all the input from everyone who weighed in!

I might mess a bit more with the cel shading style, but I think I honestly like these inks the best.

This cel from the legendary episode 30 just landed on auction in Japan 🤯
Is this an unused cel? Saori's hand doesn't show in anime!?🤔

What do you think?

Style testing half done. I'm dying. I did this in Sai.

Left: Softer lines, drawn in hard airbrush
Soft gradient/loose painterly coloring

Right: Hard, textured lines, minimal line weight variation
Minimal gradient shading + cel shade with watercolor fringe for that slight edge
