One argument I don’t get about the Wisps is they’re “too cute & cartoony” and “don’t fit the series”. I don’t see it.

There's the argument of mobility + frame data (Sheik's is frame 3, Link's is frame 7) but then of course you have stuff like Mario/Fox/Mii Brawler NAir which hit harder and have better relative hitboxes on characters who are also similarly fast in the air
