It’s been a while since I last tried grayscale painting. Hopefully she like it.

Changing gears a bit. Taking a stab at the grayscale/value painting approach using Procreate. I'm trying out a workflow where I do an initial 3d render of a reference model and then feed it through a neural network to get it closer to a painted look.

Tried grayscale to color again and it's really tough trying to get it not look so flat. I think I still prefer going straight to colors. Tried disguise Tak this time... I'm still stuck on haha!

🌟Hello!! After 1 1/2 years of living with my dad, I'm moving out tomorrow! Luckily I have most furniture already, but I'll need to buy a few items! So I'm taking quick sketches, $9-12 for grayscale and $15+ for color! Link ref in donation @ https://t.co/lpLze2kOt3

Fixed my off by one pixel cropping error and also included the grayscale base. I just used a few overlay layers to add colour. I don't often do it this way but I want to try it out more.

Monthly Patreon reward for Ruka. This time I experimented with some grayscale copics since I had a lot of time to sit down and work on something on paper while I was out of town where no one could interrupt me.

In my last few paintings, I have to say I really enjoy the grayscale painting phase before going to final color. The ultimate goal is full color of course, but when I talk about process, the grayscale phase is where I’m able to just literally forget about color (almost).
