In the belly of the beast, Khang & co. really brought my staging to life with their amazing design and color sense. At first I wanted to stage this completely in the dark, to emphasize the need for Mao Mao's special glowing sword, but staging stuff in darkness gets complicated!

I'd switch between art styles, coloring styles, bright colors to dark, and change my lineart depending on the piece. It used to worry me but lately I've been trying more to embrace it :) Experimenting is fun!

His eyes are improved (future style) to get really good night vision, (the iris glows in cyan as a side effect) So he can be out in the dark, looking for parts or steal stuff, probably both..
