OCTOBER.
The month I was born, technique and exploration heavy as always I dived into many new things, caustics, another approach to lighting, dust, and even simple stuff again. I love the process of finding new ways for my new work, and the journey is always a delight.
SEPTEMBER.
More exploration, trying new approaches, new ways to produce cloth, new texture nodes, combination of these etc. Followed by great support from old friends that boosted me a lot while sharing these.

From the overt first person shooters to ethereal explorations of grief and loss, the art & message of video games are a poignant way to confront feelings around death.
The artist @skeleton_claw takes on morbid themes with a lighthearted touch, & we think that is #deathpositive.
Pairing these together since I can't decide which I like more. First got into the series this year and holy hell it was a trip to experience these, almost everything about these games are incredible and I can't wait to finish Dread. Best mix of exploration and power creep.
87) Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Decent title, but this game seemed way too focused on it's combat, which is the least enjoyable part of Prime for me and the actual exploration didn't motivate me as much as Prime 1 did. Towards the end I just wanted it to be over tbh.

A fantasy story that revolves around the joy of reading books.
The story starts very very slowly, but the character development and fun exploration of the value of books leads to a decent payoff. Wouldn’t mind reading more.

Completed Lucifer (2000)
A worthy successor to The Sandman, The series felt off at times during Carey's exploration of God's departure but overall, it's almost just as evocative drama & carefully crafted story. Lucifer Morningstar is one of the greatest charactes in the medium.
