I saw that "if you aren't a pro artist by 16-17, you should give up" tweet and it made me do this comparison.

Discouraging others from learning something they enjoy is absolutely vile even if it's meant to be trolling. For anyone who thinks I draw well here's perhaps a bit of motivation: a comparison of two pics I drew when I was ~17 yo (decent enough to stay on my drive) vs. now.
