I saw Moshi Monsters video today, and it reminded me of Ellie. So I drew her. Ignore how terribly drawn the left hand and arm is, that took me two hours and then I gave up.

This was a remix of a mini comic I’d rendered digitally for this scene a long while ago, and as a result, it’s a bit rougher—which I kinda like because I think it gives it that feeling of Grecian antiquity. Anyhoo, here are some process shots showing how it came together 🥰

The theme was classical elements so I went with a Marimo moss ball mermaid!
