@VersaDile Sega separates the Sonics by their core designs. And Modern Sonic’s has been the same since 1998. If we’re gonna separate them by less substantial stuff like gameplay, voice actors & minor differences in models/sprites, then there may as well be a different Sonic for every game.

Zenodyne R (2016) is a vertical #shmup with a sci-fi retro theme by @TeamGBSRFox. Solid controls. Fast reflex based gameplay. Interesting shot swap mechanic. Gorgeous retro presentation, graphics and audio. Very challenging.

Great music, great story, I'm a little mixed on the gameplay, because on one hand it's fun, but on the other it's a bit chaotic at times. Nonetheless this is still a really solid DS game, and I'd still recommend it. 5/6
