See thread for basic lighting!
Start with your base colours!
Then on a new layer (above your colour layers but below eye or any other colour you want to glow) paint the character black (it doesn't really matter what colour) Cont.

Fire Nation (cont) HOWEVER, Principle teachings of Chinese Daoism is taught in Fire Nation. Every single nation reads and write in Mandarin (colloquially known as Chinese). Chinese & Korean architecture heavily influence the Fire Nation Palace & Buildings.
The Water Tribes (Cont) However, some elements of the tribes are based off Native Americans & Pacfic Islanders. Casting Indigenous actors for the Water Tribes is still appropriate.
Primarily cast Eskimo Actors, but Pacific/Native is not inaccurate.

@nellucnhoj Actually it's not that intentional, but the reasons for it is even more stranger:

First up is the deadmalldog herself, Charlie.
shes a gam0r who primarily plays OW as support and hates herself for it.
(cont) Hawthorne+Asher !! Hawthorne got bit by a werewolf and now can turn into her fursona. Asher is a grumpy alien werewolf. and the two mostly run around barking out HELLOGOODBYE songs at full volume.
(cont) Blu! he is the embodiment of distress in the workplace, created from the sleeplessness anger n pain felt by those that work in his store. He's named for the blue light special n genuinely believes that his name IS Blu. he's VERY naive and doesnt understand his powers @ all
(cont) ESC, Enter, and Stae ! Esc is a star that gained sentience and came to earth in search of fun after hijacking a bio-experiment on another planet. they brought Enter to life and turned Stae from a waitress named angel into their reluctant bff
(cont) Anne n Raito n Roman oh my god ive written so much w/them, surpassing the amnt ive done w/lilly?

(cont) Artra and Cervae are ALSO gfs. Cervae acts as an assistant to Artra's cousin Magnus and Artra runs a small shop n heals people w/her magic. Their world is full of the usual drama and nonsense of ur run of the mill fantasy story but i still love them a lot u_u
