His hair is already giving me a headache :') turns out bucket tool doesn't agree with all those lines, so I had to go into that manually. At least the hardest part is over, and they are almost all colored.

(Obviously I'll be working on his colors a lot more than that.)

It's faster to outsource different parts of the process to multiple people.
You're not the only one who's going to be working with your lines, so you'll want to make it easy for others.
(Granted, paint buckets can close gaps nowadays, but it isn't perfect.)

I'd like to imagine after Sonic was rescued in SF, he needed some time in bed to cuddle and heal.

It was kinda fun to use the marker tool for lines, and a pure color palette, but it didn't turn out super great. 💦
