I've taken a break from portraits to play with simple ink-style sketches, similar to traditional techniques I used at college.
This is eventually going to represent Velarius' Hold, a location in my #ttrpg #homebrew game!
I was finally able to finish this piece!
Even though I made some mistakes and it took me longer than anticipated I was able to learn some new techniques.

Last night's watercolour practice from videos. The videos are only in order of when I saw them on "recommended" so I have basic wet on wet exercises followed by "getting accurate values in an a la prima portrait" followed by basic glazing techniques.

Booted up clip studio paint to practice some faces some more. Getting better. Still not *good*... but better. Tried some new highlighting/shadowing techniques while easing myself back into trying to do digital stuffs.
At least the eyes and mouth look better than before.
