Metroid Dread then… overall it was pretty good. I grew to love the EMMI sections, the bosses are brilliant and the core gameplay loop will always be compelling fun. But it felt quite dated and safe. It was very predictable and looked quite bland. It’s a 7/10 for me.

Trouble Witches Origin EP1 (2016) is a horizontal cute 'em up by . Danmaku gameplay. Different witches with varying speeds and shots. Bullet cancels and spell cards. Gorgeous cartoony graphics and great music. Quite challenging. 🧙‍♀️

There will be an english version so you can get that one. If you like classic anime aesthetic and crazy 80's OVA plots (And of course anime gurls in smol armor) you will love the Valis series a lot. Gameplay is secondary.

Terribly unpolished with very repetitive gameplay, but an enjoyable story. The writing is strong, especially when it comes to comedy. The Guardians are a lot more grounded than they are in the MCU and the way they interact is great. Nothing special, but a decent experience. 3/5.
