First drawing of the new year. Unfortunately I forgot to record the timelapse 😭

This is my OC, Ploop, who is my go to in any video game character creator.

I wanted to go for more of a cel-shaded look.

Me fascinaron los dibujos que hicieron de Viral, lo mejor es que son interpretaciones de como sienten al personaje y no calcos.¿Quién diría que un narcisista sociópata seria tan querido? ya quiero llegar a lo bueno
cel cap xd

lol thank you Kigu-Claire!

I feel like I've at least settled into doing cel shading vs. the blurry method!

Hopefully this year I draw more OC art (making comics about them!) and set up commissions!

Came to realize that in all these years, I never, ever learnt to Cel Shade properly. I tried it on an super old sketch, and... well, it's this one. I guess I know what to put on my "To-Do list" in 2021.

recorded stuff for a free after effects demo in how you can fake lighting effects without having to draw new cel shading. Used assets from the dream bandits proof of concept I released over a year ago where I was intentionally replicating that celuloid analog look.
