@SorenadeX The time it takes depends entirely on the complexity of the piece. For example here is a 2hr speedpaint next to a fully rendered 38hr painting.
I schedule out my commission queue 1 to several months in advance, always allocating lots of buffer time for breaks & hiccups in life.
