The shading, highlighting, and back lighting layers are all separate in the template. This lets me individually adjust the colors for each layer within each color group. I did a 4th layer of manual adjustment with a soft brush to touch up any areas that I wasn't happy with.

reminder to go back and edit your art even when you think it’s done! you never know what changes you can make and how much it can improve w just a few adjustments, the second one was done w a fresh eye after abt a 2 hour break and it looks so much better!
