After rereading Jaco the Galactic Patrolman with sufficient knowledge of Ultraman, I can pick up on ideas Toriyama implemented.
Jaco is obviously based on Ultraman in design. The Galactic Patrol is definitely a mix between a typical Ultraman support team and the Ultramen as well
