ADHD나 ADD 자폐증 등을 다른 관점에서 연구해보기 위해 시작된 가설. 즉 인류는 사냥꾼형 뇌와 농부형 뇌가 있는데 수렵채집시절인 사냥꾼형 뇌가 생존에 적합했으나 농경사회에 접어들며 사냥꾼형 뇌들이 설자리를 잃어감.
