this. when i got back to properly doing digital art, i used tracing as a learning tool and it taught me so much when it comes to how shapes, anatomy and shading works. the first piece of art is before tracing, the second is traced, and the third is untraced (after using tracing). https://t.co/1jPRThpG4C

the lasso fill is my absolute favorite tool in Clip Studio Paint. It makes building silly bubbly explosions like this such a joy because it's pure gesture :)
