I love this series so much that I own 2 copies of every issue, and variants, and the trades. If you're going to read it, I recommend the single issues, because the trades cut out the footnotes at the bottom. Some of them are story relevant lines, because everything is connected.

When drawing the heads, start with a circle and put two lines, a vertical and horizontal one, to give you a guide. I always start with the muzzle. Remember that like all of the official artwork, the part of the eyes and muzzle that turn away will curve smaller to the side.
