Took me a bit to get through but I've finished the first volume of Definitely plenty of stuff I want to talk about but on the surface just an outstanding novel in a bunch of ways, and comparatively the anime does a solid job adapting this first volume.

Yesterday I got a nice improvement to Blue Planets global DEM. I’m up to 4,300 height points that get interpolated into a continuous surface (which is how I get the blue wash from the dots).
