I’ve got as far as the first Cavendish story in Cloud Atlas and… it’s slightly underwhelming so far. The Rey and Frobisher sections have mostly worked, but Mitchell really overwrites when doing pastiches and I hope there’s a point to that because otherwise it’s *hugely* annoying
