I need to come clean. For years, I've just been telling people Sammi's a "deer", because it's easier to explain away the missing antlers. In truth, he's a Peruvian Maned Wolf. They look IDENTICAL to deer (go look it up!), and "deer" just rolls off the tongue easier.
