I realized afterwards the mistake that the guy's color palette will look terrible together with the can. It's so grey that he will just fade away and the colorful can will get the spotlight oops

Now here, I started putting in highlights around the parts of his body where it'd protrude the most, i.e. where the curves are most outward. It's just my instinct/personal preference. Shown is the layers involved in this. There's a lot of opacity adjustment and blending here!
