Hear me out: what if the Beast Pack are trying to disperse the Waddle Dees by keeping them in cages because some big bad creature would attack them if they were all in one place? Maybe Elfilin doesn’t know this and just wants to help Kirby? Reverse betrayal?

Perseus: Naughty baby who like to get into trouble (much to Lucille's dismay)
Pigeon: Nervous Introvert with a shapeshifter companion
Ptarmigan: Constantly sniffling, eats fish aquarium rocks

Persephone, Goddess of Spring. Oil on board 18X24.

I recently reshot this painting after learning how to actually use my camera, so here is a true representation of the original.

'She had never seen herself before.'

I wanted to show Medusa here horrified and fascinated by both herself and her fate, with Perseus as a background character, in an almost submissive pose holding the shield for her to truly see herself, rather than as the conquering hero.
