A much needed breath of fresh air for the series. Oozes style from every pore. A great debut for a mostly new voice cast for the franchise too.

Another tough year, but JoJo’s anime got me into the franchise which has now been an obsession of mine for a decade, so it’s gotta be it. Even if subsequent parts are even better, the first season has some of the most iconic moments anime-wise.
2012: Kingdom Hearts Dream drop distance
This game was a lot of fun to play through. I remember how insane it felt playing a full Kingdom Hearts game on the 3ds at the time of it's release. Plus this game gave Three Musketeers some much needed love <3

My favorite game from 2012 is Mass Effect 3. It's pretty amazing. The Legendary Edition that came out last year is the definitive way to play it, so I'm also going to mention another favorite from 2012: The Last Story. The Last Story is a hidden Wii gem, I like it a lot.

in 2012, a game came out that would change the course of my life. this is not an exaggeration, just worded very dramatically. Diabolik Lovers is a horny game that made me sad about vampires.
2012: There was a lot of good anime this year, but I've narrowed it down to two....... Zetsuen no Tempest (because I love Shakespeare and this anime is batshit) and Aquarion EVOL (because I love mecha anime and cute girls) 😳

Street Fighter X TEKKEN (Various)
One of my favorite fighters in the PS3 era, and a great game overall.
It had a lot of hate during its launch, but I honestly feel that people were way too harsh on it.
Especially since other games did worse things and it slipped by. 🙄

too many good games came out in 2012. weird that thats 10 years ago now. shoutout to re6 btw - one of the best mediocre games of all time. trust me bro

2012: There were some AMAZING games that came out this year but I'm sorry but it wasn't even fucking close. This is the pinnacle of video games for me. Incredible characters, great gameplay (if you're right-handed), visually stunning, especially for 3DS, and a fantastic story
