2013: Samurai Flamenco
It's an anime, but a show absolutely every tokusatsu fan should watch, referencing all the big series in the genre one at a time. Also, it's completely batshit. The effects of episode 7's live reactions can still be felt to this day.

Still my fav Pokémon games ever made and the franchise just peaked with Gen 6, even outside of the game. Also the first game I bought off my own money :)
Other than that, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance was an amazing game! Mario 3D World is cool too.
