Writer Paul S. Newman was born OTD in 1924. Dubbed by Guinness as the "most prolific comic book writer" (4100 stories!), he would produce horror tales for pre-Marvel Stan Lee, but it was Dell/Gold Key where he co-created Doctor Solar and wrote TUROK for 26 years. He died in 1999.
