This was SO difficult to choose but I did it! All of these games are literal gold. In fact, I have a tie between AM2R and Super Metroid. AM2R was actually my first Metroid experience that made me a fan, and need I talk about Super Metroid’s ending?

Just played AM2R for the first time and it was really, really good! Honestly I think I'd rather play this again than Samus Returns on 3DS (but it's still really good as well). The controls are super tight and it meshes Metroid 2's linear focus with non-linear design really well.
