With everything happening, I wanted to do a cheerful ACNH style creature, so I chose the amabie, a yokai that protects against disease, and has become a bit of a symbol cheering against COVID19 in Japan and abroad. C:

i just learned about Amabie, a yokai whose image prevents disease in Japanese folklore! apparently Japanese artists are drawing her for good luck/morale. I thought that was a really sweet idea and wanted to join in. you can see other interpretations in this hashtag!
