As a straight person, I have never really celebrated pride month, as I felt I couldn’t relate to LGBTQ people. But as an Asperger, I know what it’s like to be different. And that is something all should be proud of. Being proud of who you are.

Allie and Laura. I've been writing a lot of myself into the characters to get over the stigma, though ironically it was largely by accident. Allie very much inherited my ADHD and Laura my aspergers/autism, though I've been deep in denial and resisting the latter for too long
