This big box set does come with an enormous beautiful reproduction of the stunning theatrical poster art for the film. Look at those gorgeous painterly details.
I love that plucky underdog Baragon returns for this film, his fight scene with Godzilla is brilliantly staged.
i couldn't start drawing kaiju without drawing my childhood favorite (baragon)
@spankzilla85 I hope we see more, as well as the redesign kaiju (like with Godzilla, mothra, baragon, Frankenstein, Gamera, and Gyaos)
Finally the designs and personalities of the golems are all based off the following. Tartakovsky was based off Toho’s Frankenstein from Frankenstein vs Baragon and the Armored Titan from AOT, Yefimov off the golem from Gargoyles and Asimov off the robot from Castle in the Sky.
HAPPY #HALLOWEEN! In the latest of a series of kaiju redesigns, here’s FRANKENSTEIN and BARAGON from #FrankensteinConquersTheWorld! Although I took inspiration for Frankie from a very specific source…know where it comes from? Be sure to check out @mooncalfe1’s redesigns too!
Tonight’s Halloween viewing: FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD (1965)
Not much screams “Halloween” more than the name Frankenstein, & Toho’s contribution to the iconic monster’s cinematic legacy is one of my top favorite kaiju films. Plus, it’s got Baragon, which is always a plus!
More Zilla 98 revamps from 2014-2015. Baragon as a mutated frilled lizard, Anguirus as a red-eyed crocodile skink, and Gorosaurus as a collared lizard.

Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! (NES) by Compile
#KAIJUly The best kaiju brawl not involving Godzilla? Two instantly come to mind. The first is Guiron vs. the Space Gyaos. Absolutely brutal dismemberment, and fun beam-reversals and stuff. The second would be Baragon’s fast-paced fiery battle with the Frankenstein monster.
